Work on the new organ began in March of 2020. Because this was the start of the pandemic and there were no in-person worship services, the builders were able layout all of the pipes, cabinets and wiring throughout the sanctuary as they worked. The organ was completed in September that year.

The official name is Casavant Frères Ltée Opus 3324. This is a twenty-three rank instrument that was originally installed in Norwood Park Lutheran Church in Chicago in 1976. When that parish closed in 2018, SSM had the opportunity to obtain it to replace a smaller organ from 1968 in need of repairs.
The organ was moved to Greendale by the Chicago organ builders Ericksen, Christian & Associates. Significant improvements were made to the instrument, to go along with the custom installation for our worship space. Improvements include a solid state control system for the electrical relay and combination action, re-leathering of the Pedal chests and a wheeled platform to make the console movable.
